Field Experience Overview
Before or after your safari or mountain climb, a gentle walking morning on the slopes of Mount Meru is the perfect restorative pause.
Accompanied by an estate grower whose family has tended these trees for four generations, you walk beneath shade trees draped with orchids. You learn the lifecycle of the coffee cherry from white blossom to deep crimson ripeness.
The walk finishes at an outdoor hearth where you roast green beans over an open fire, grind them with a heavy wooden pestle, and drink rich, fragrant coffee with homemade banana bread.
