Tucked beneath the shade of ancient thousand-year-old baobabs inside Tarangire National Park, this camp captures the essence of untamed dry-season Africa. The Tarangire River flows just a short walk away, drawing massive herds of elephants that dig for water in the sandy bed. Eight walk-in canvas tents on raised wooden platforms offer unimpeded views of passing wildlife. At night, hyenas call across the scrub and lion roars vibrate through the canvas walls, reminding you that you are sleeping directly within their territory.
